To most readers of my blog, Fred probably doesn't need an introduction, because chances are, you probably read his blog too. On the off-chance you've missed it, Unabashedly Prep catalogues Fred's daily foray into prepdom through his ubiquitous camera lens. After shooting everything from street style to socialites, from look books to magazine spreads, he's got a lock on the documentation of WASP culture. Here, his core list of must-haves, in true FEC style...

1. Fuji X-Pro 1 camera: Though I’ve shot Canon for the last six years, this rangefinder by Fuji is going to make photographing street style, and everything in between, much more enjoyable given it’s smaller size2. Ralph Lauren penny loafers: Once you splurge on well-crafted shoes, it’s hard to stop. 3. Swiss Army Climber Stayglow: Every man should carry a knife, this is mine. 4. Adidas Cope Mundial boots: I’ve played the beautiful game my entire life...and continue to play now. Copa Mundials are classics. Made from Kangaroo leather, they are so soft and still give an incredible feel for the ball5. Caran d’Ache ballpoint pens: Usually in my shirt pocket, I have this on me to label business receipts, fill out shipping labels, and draw up master plans to conquer the universe. 6. Lookmatic tortoise FDR eyeglasses: I’m in these almost everyday. Tortoise eyeglasses have been a signature of mine for over 15 years. 7. iPhone: If love is defined by how much time you spend with something or someone, then I love my iPhone...a lot. My calendar, my camera, my music, my to-do list, photos of my sons...they’re all in there. 8. Bed Head for Men Matte Separation Workable Wax: I take less than four minutes to part my hair. I throw this wax in around minute number two9. 1987 BMW 535i: sunroof open, windows down, foot to the floor...nothing better.

Anything menswear inspired ( and that's easy to do when one's a man ) is my new favorite obsession. The John Daly looks like a plantation inspired drink perfect for sipping on a veranda!
