Southern Shops: Copper Penny, Savannah, GA

Y'all asked for more Savannah - you got it! Two of eight locations, Copper Penny and Copper Penny Shooz are nestled comfortably side by side on Broughton Street in Savannah, GA.
Vanessa shows off some bold statement pieces. My favorites are the Micheal Kors "Dermott" shoes, but you can't go wrong with the Ella Moss asymmetrical top either.

District manager Vanessa Hoffman rattles off the laundry list of names the store carries without hesitation "...Trina Turk, Tibi, Milly, Bailey 44, Ella Moss, Free People, and Liquid. Jeans... we have Citizens of Humanity, Seven For All Mankind, Joe’s, Paige,Hudson..."

These pieces truly capture what the store is about. Classic clothing with a modern twist. I love the gold metallic Jack Roger sandals. The bohemian Free People striped top looks subdued at the this angle, but it turn around and you see a little back with the fabric crossing into a keyhole.

Copper Penny Shooz caries a selction from Michael Kors, Jeffrey Campbell, BCBG, Jack Rogers, Corso Como, Ciao Bella, Kelsi Dagger, and Gentle Souls, to name a few. Their website is very up to date, so you don't have to travel to South Carolina or Georgia to shop, but there's nothing like the warm southern service they provide.

"We’re an upscale ladies boutique and we service young teens all the way to the mature woman," Hoffman proffers. "There are pieces in the store that can grow up with you."

"Jewelry is mostly custom made, it’s a little costume-y mainly fun, and modern. We carry some Nashelle monogram pieces," said Vanessa.

This ensemble here is simple but chic. This silk Liquid dress is beautiful on it's own, but it's the neutral accessories that complete the look and help make it more casual. The cardigan is Ella Moss.

"My favorite thing about working here would have to be the costumers and my relationships with them, and not only local costumers but tourists. I might have only laid eyes on them once, but kept a relationship with them, and they’ll order online. My favorite thing is the people, and dressing them from head to toe," said Vanessa, "they can leave the store confidently dressed for a function." - Lauren Harris
