Seeing as I almost never check my blog's visitor stats unless an advertiser is inquiring, I often am the last to know when The Love List has been name dropped somewhere cool. Today, when a twitter friend tweeted to congratulate me on being listed on Ruthie Sommers' (very snazzy) new website, my reaction was pretty much "...wait, WHAT?!" Truly an honor that someone I look up to, whose taste I have always admired, thinks my blog is hip enough to list on her page. I am overjoyed, to say the least. I am in great company too, alongside people like Ronda and Erin. Thank you so much Ruthie!
Given that this is an excellent excuse to ogle some of her work, how about some eye candy?

I am in love wit hthe kitchen table and mismatched chairs! I am in th eprocess of moving and that is exactly what I was picturing in my mind for my new space (only that is way more fabulous than what I had in mind!)
Thank you everyone :) mWm - I think you could re-create your own version of it. You would have to find a good tutorial on painting vertical stripes (if you are diy type and it is a small space, like here, otherwise I'd hire someone.) The chairs look like they are upholstered in vinyl (judging by the sheen on them) which was smart of Ruthie if that is the case because nothing sees more abuse and spills than dining chairs and bar stools.
