Letterpress Coasters - Help Me Pick

John Derian, I love you, but your Target collection coasters just do not cut it for me. When my glass sweats, the bottom sticks to the melamine and drips cold water down my legs - yuck! Coaster disdain sent me on a hunt for something pulp-y that would soak liquids in rather than create a cold puddle. My natural first thought was letterpress. And so the etsy scour begins... and the options are limitless.

Do I want a custom monogram from Sarah Ridgely, something a bit more quirky from Lark Press, or citrusy dragonflies from The Paper Peony?

Green chair Press's pine cones remind me of fall growing up in the Panhandle, but Ruby Press must have known about my weakness for peonies.

And of course, true to my profession, a wood block and type collage coaster for my inner typography nerd. Oh yes, and for context - here is the desk they will be resting on ...

Or maybe I should get two sets and keep one on the coffee table?

What do you think? Which should I pick? Let me know in comments!

Ohhh, I love the hot pink flower ones next to the pine cones. I thnk they would look amazing on the white desk with that blue wall.

I am digging those too, Pixie. I have some fuschia John Robshaw pillows on my couch so it would tie in nicely :)

Hii Frye! Thanks for weighing in - I know, I think these are my faves... waiting to hear what others think.

You know, these are all fabulous. If pushed we would probably opt for the peonies and then the monograms, but that is only if 'pushed'!

Enjoy your weekend!

I love the peonies. They are so elegant yet there is something very modern about them. They will make your desk pop in comparison to the white :)

The peonies seem to be the winners - and I couldn't agree more :)
