Where to begin? The inlaid bone benches (very Dorothy Draper) are not only beautiful but add function and elegance to the room - a great contrast to the rustic wood floors. And the bed - oh, the bed! Domino (where the image is from) cites it as the "Rune" bed from Hivemindesign - the carved wood canopy is so incredibly unique.
I don't know any other way to describe this room other than the fact that is just 'so me'. That aside, this room is one of many I have saved for dining room inspiration - I never grow weary of tulip tables or Schumaker's KWID Imperial Trellis - I have an especially soft spot for the gunmetal. Aqua seems to be my somewhat unintentional signature color, so I love the great pop that the art provides. I could stand a different light fixture, but everything else is perfect - even the hydrangeas on the table.

Jessica the bed is to die for! I saved the pic for inspiration. Thanks for sharing!
I know, I want to move into that room!
Those inlaid bone benches are beatuiful!!! - I love them! They remind me of the gorgeous inlaid bone and mother of pearl chests of drawers I love. Unfortunately I think they will sit on my wish list for a few years yet! Love your style Jessica, Love List is always a beautiful place to visit, thanks! x
The dining room image is from Ryan Brown Design (as in Bravo's Flipping Out)

I love the four poster bed, it sort of looks like a room within a room, very chic!
kimberlee - you are too sweet! I'm a sucker for mother of pearl as well.
amy - THANK YOU! i'll fix that right away
I'm checking out your blog for the first time and I love it! Great posts, very inspiring! The dining chairs in Ryan Brown's dining room are from my line of furniture and I actually posted this same pic on our store blog just last week. Fun. I'll be back. Thanks!
