Gallery Leather Day Planners

My planner is my brain. I cannot operate without it. I write down appointments, lists, events, to-do’s, ideas, and everything else day-to-day life requires me to remember. I’ve tried electronic planners, but alas, my Blackberry works harder at checking e-mail and going online than it ever will keeping track of appointments. Some things are just easier written down.

The planner I have now is by Gallery Leather – it’s a gauzy pink with a sumptuous leather cover that is sturdy but elegant. It holds up in my purse without getting haggard so I’m not embarrassed when I pull it out in front of someone. The company, which is based in Maine, doesn’t have a website, but you can contact them by e-mailing service@galleryleather.com and they will get you a list of stores in your area that carry their line. (Pictured is the pocket version of my planner)

Thanks for the post! I have the same beautiful pocket planner in bright pink in 2008 and loved it. I have just trawled through 5 major book retailers and office supplies stores in search of the same for 2009 to no avail.

I just emailed to the address you provided to ask for a stockist, so thank you.

By the way, Amazon.com is selling them, some at a ridiculous price, but at least I can see they exist and come in more beautiful colours this year!

Thanks for the email address.

I'm looking for refills that will fit the one I purchased last year. Does anyone know where I could find them, or if I just have to buy a new planner?

I don't know if it is acceptable to shop at Marshall's or TJ Maxx when you are a southerner; but I have used these planners for years and they are always stocked in these stores for about $9.99 a piece. I just bought my 2010 planner yesterday. They are beautiful, perfectly sized and hold up very nicely. Both of my college daughters use them now too!
P.S. Your website is lovely!

I found my 2009 (and first) Gallery Leather planner at TJ Maxx. I'm absolutely in love with it and MUST have another for 2010. So far no luck at any stores in my county. Now that I was able to send off for a store list I'm hopeful again. Thank you, thank you!

Thank you for your post about the official website of Gallery Leather as well as their company email. I have been a faithful user of this planner since 2005.

I always buy them(at TJ Maxx or Marshall's) the summer prior to the new year when the new batch arrives to have my selection of the various colors available.

I did notice an alteration in the 2010 monthly calendar section - they have omitted the entire 2010 January through December calendars, and added monthly calendars for 2011. I am not a fan of this change, but I suppose it will suffice since I love everything else about the planner.

Does anyone else share my sentiment?
